What are Brandollars?
Brandollars are credit you buy ahead of time for a particular venue or brand in the Nomni Loyalty app, usually with bonus credit on top.
Basically, buy now, eat more later. Grab Brandollars at your favourite venues and score up to 100% bonus instantly. 💰
How do I use my Brandollars?
Once you've bought Brandollars, visit the venue (if they are open for takeaway or dine-in) and pay with the Nomni Loyalty app. On the payment screen, choose the Brandollars pack you want to use. Your bill is taken from that pack, and anything left stays there for next time.
Brandollars come as bundles or packs. Bundles can be spent across several participating venues, whereas packs can only be spent at the venue where you bought them.
To check where you can use your Brandollars, open My Brandollars in your wallet, choose the pack and look at Participating locations.
You can hold more than one pack, but you can only use one pack to pay a bill. You can't combine packs in one payment.
What's the difference between Brandollars and Passes?
The participating venues for a Brandollars pack are fixed when you buy it. The venues for a Pass can change over time: venues may be removed, and new ones added. Before heading out, check where your Pass is valid in the app.
Passes have no expiry, so you can use them whenever suits you.
What happens if I have Brandollars for a venue that is no longer on Nomni Loyalty?
If this happens, the Nomni Loyalty Guarantee means your unused credit, not including the bonus amount, can be converted to Passes or account credit (at our discretion) to use at other similar venues. More detail: A venue closed or stopped accepting Nomni Loyalty: what happens to my balance?.
How to get help with your Brandollars: message us in the app (go to your profile and tap Chat with us) and tell us the venue name and which pack you have. Our team will review your request and get back to you.
When do my Brandollars expire?
Brandollars don't expire unless the venue has set an expiry on that pack. If a pack has an expiry, the app shows it before you buy (for example "Expires 12 months from purchase"), and the pack in your wallet shows the date as Expires: followed by the date.
We also email you a reminder 30 days and 7 days before your Brandollars expire. After the expiry date, any balance left on that pack can no longer be used.
Can I earn extra rewards when I pay with Brandollars?
No. With Brandollars, you get your bonus up front when you buy, instead of earning rewards after your meal.
Venues often offer a big bonus on their Brandollars in the Nomni Loyalty app (up to 100%, so double the value in some cases).
Because you get that bonus straight away, you don't also earn rewards when you pay with Brandollars. On average the Brandollars bonus is much higher than the rewards you'd earn after a meal, so you still come out on top.
Can I have more than one Brandollars pack for the same venue?
Yes! You can hold more than one Brandollars pack or bundle for the same venue, and you'll find them all in your wallet. You can only use one of them to pay a bill, though. They can't be merged or combined in a single payment.
If the pack you choose doesn't cover the whole bill, the rest is taken from your rewards balance (if you've turned it on), then from your backup payment method.
Can I buy Brandollars as a gift?
You absolutely can! Turn on Purchase as a gift before you buy. You'll get a gift email and a link to send to the person you're gifting. It has a gift code and instructions for adding the Brandollars to their wallet.
Hint: savvy buyers use this to lock in great bonuses while they get their gift shopping done.
What about public holidays, weekends and other surcharges or taxes?
These are set by each venue and apply to Brandollars just as they do to any other way of paying.
