A venue closed or stopped accepting Nomni Loyalty: what happens to my balance?

How to use or get a refund for venue credit when a venue has closed.

Sorry this has happened. If a venue where you hold Brandollars or credit has closed or no longer accepts Nomni Loyalty, you can ask for your balance back. Here's what you can get, and what to send us so we can sort it in one go.

What you can get

  • We refund what you originally paid for the balance, not the bonus, less anything you have already used.

  • The refund goes back to your original payment method. Banks usually take 5 to 10 business days.

  • If the refundable amount is under $10, it's added to your Nomni Loyalty balance instead. Your Nomni Loyalty balance doesn't expire and works at any participating venue.

How to ask

  1. First check the venue in the app. Sometimes it has moved or changed its name and still accepts your credit.

  2. Message us in the Nomni Loyalty app.

  3. If you already have an open request, reply to that one instead of starting a new one, so it isn't delayed.

What to include

Putting all of this in your first message means we won't need to come back to you with questions:

  • the venue name, and its suburb if it has more than one location

  • the email address or mobile number on your Nomni Loyalty account

  • whether the venue has closed, or is still open but wouldn't accept your balance

  • if it wouldn't accept your balance: the date you visited and what the staff told you

Please don't send card numbers, passwords or one-time codes.

What happens next

We check your balance and the venue. If it has moved or changed its name and still accepts your credit, we'll tell you where you can use it. If not, we process your refund and tell you the date and amount. See Where is my refund? and the refund policy.
