The care package balance section provides an overview of any changes in this statement period to the total care package value currently held by customers. Merchants will be interested in the closing balance, as this represents the total value yet to be claimed by customers at the end of the statement period.
Care Package Purchases
This is the total amount of care package value sold during the statement period. Any care package purchases will increase the total care package value currently held by customers.
Care Package Redemptions
This is the amount of care package value redeemed by each branch during the statement period. Any care package redemptions will reduce the total care package value currently held by customers.
Adjustments
These are adjustments made to the care package balance during the statement period. These adjustments may be positive or negative and typically include out of statement period refunds and care package reversals.
