Pay with and Send Nomni Loyalty

Now you have Liven Rewards, use it to pay for meals or gift to friends!

Nomni Loyalty is Nomni's very own Digital Currency and is the fuel that drives the Nomni network.

Users receive Nomni Loyalty whenever they transact with Nomni at no extra cost. Even when you use Nomni Loyalty to pay, you earn it!

Nomni Loyalty can be:

  1. Gifted to friends

  2. Spent as a payment method

  3. Stored indefinitely for future use

Paying with LVN

Nomni Loyalty is accepted at all Nomni Merchant Partners as a valid payment method. This means that the Nomni Loyalty you earn for eating burgers in the city can be used for wine on the river. However, Nomni Loyalty cannot be used to purchase Brandollar vouchers, and only the amount originally paid for Brandollars (excluding bonuses) is eligible for conversion to Nomni Loyalty.

This also means using Nomni Loyalty to pay instead of debiting your card. If your Liven Rewards balance is insufficient, a fallback payment method will automatically cover the remaining amount.

To use Nomni Loyalty to pay:

  1. Open the Nomni app and navigate to the Home screen.

  2. Tap the Wallet icon and go to Payment Methods.

  3. Select your card and toggle on the Nomni Loyalty Balance option.

  4. Choose a fallback payment method to cover any remaining balance if your rewards are insufficient.

  5. Return to the Home screen, open the merchant page, and tap Pay. Your available rewards balance will be displayed in the payment method area.

If the Nomni Loyalty Balance is on, this means your Nomni Loyalty balance will be debited before your cards are charged any amount. Additionally, if your loyalty balance is insufficient, the fallback payment method you selected will be charged for the remaining amount.

Storing Nomni Loyalty for Future Use & Sending them to Friends

The Nomni Loyalty Wallet stores your Nomni Loyalty by default, and it will sit there indefinitely where it can be sent to friends and soon, be withdrawn from Liven — stay tuned! To check your current spendable rewards balance, open the Wallet section in the Nomni app. The Wallet Balance section shows Brandollars (specific to certain venues) and Nomni Loyalty (usable across restaurants and stores). Avoid relying on the "Lifetime Rewards" number, as it reflects total historical rewards earned, not the current spendable amount.

Also, remember that your Nomni Loyalty can be used as a payment method at any Nomni Merchant.

Sending Nomni Loyalty to friends

Nomni Loyalty can be instantly sent for free to others in the network using their unique Nomni @username handle.

This is done from the Nomni Loyalty Wallet:

  1. Navigate to your in-app Nomni Loyalty Wallet

  2. Tap Send

  3. Input their username and the amount to send

  4. Tap Send

And you're done! Larger requests may require manual approval which may take a few minutes.
